Light of the World

Description

Orchestrating the scene before us is Almighty God who’s represented in this panel by the bright strips of silk around the edge. The light of God focused on the earth. The Creator making possible everything good – the constant message of hope contained in the thin rainbow.

The angels are those present at the birth of Jesus announcing the good news of peace and good will for everyone. A message for all people in all time. And at the center of the panel is the earth – a garden city. The blocks of colour representing our homes, with the river representing the Holy Spirit, and at the centre the Tree of Life with fruit available for everyone.
